Sierpe Mangrove

Sierpe in Costa Rica is the gateway to the largest virgin mangrove forests in Central America and hosts innumerable species of birds and other wild species.

You will be delighted to observe the variety and abundance of wildlife species and birds. Squirrel, howler, and cappuccino monkeys, huge crocodiles, blue herons, ibis, and macaws are often spotted.

The natural beauty of the River Sierpe and the mangrove canals are impressive; the mangrove forest is amazing, and the secluded beaches of Isla de Violin are full of spectacular charm.
